A simulation exercise, often known as a SimEx, is a made-up catastrophe that is used to test the emergency plans and procedures and assist pinpoint their strengths and flaws.

The workshop was organized by ICMS YouthMappers in collaboration with Golden Horizon Academy with team of DRR experts from Institute of Crisis Management Studies (ICMS).
The workshop was designed to sensitize the school level students, teachers and staffs about how to respond on the disaster and emergency situations, what preventive measures to adopt, how to perform quick search and rescue operation, and operate basic first aid activities in the time of disaster and emergency.
